Medicare Coverage for Chiropractic Care

Allied health services within Australia have limited coverage under Medicare. Patients with chronic conditions are able to receive a referral from a GP for chiropractic care under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.

This coverage is allocated up to five appointments within the year. Although Medicare coverage may not be comprehensive, leaving a small gap for the individual, it alleviates financial stress. We recommend discussing your eligibility with your GP for management. Take advantage of the benefits of chiropractic care for your health.

How We Keep Chiropractic Care Affordable

We understand that Medicare coverage is limited so that is why we are straight-forward about costs and prioritise affordability for our valued practice members.

  • Initial Consultation Discount: We are offering a special rate for our new patients who book online. Our comprehensive assessment and treatment are now accessible for $85 instead of $125 to help you take that first step to improving your well-being. If x-rays are clinically required, these can be bulk billed through Medicare.
  • Report of Findings (Extended Consultation): Priced at $105, this extended appointment is designed to give you time to discuss your individual examination findings and health goal-setting with your chiropractor. This session also includes chiropractic treatment.
  • Standard Consultation: Our follow-up treatments are competitively priced at $75. This is our way of supporting your health in the short and long term.

Concession Offers

To ensure that children, students, and concession card holders are able to access our services, we offer our extended appointments at $100 and our standard sessions at $65. This saving ensures we are able to support all of those in our community.

Do You Take Private Health Insurance?

Yes! Chiropractic services are often included on your private health insurance extras policy. The amount covered depends on your individual insurance. Bring along your healthcare card to your appointment, and our friendly staff will be able to process your claim on the same day, leaving more money in your pocket.
